R Fundamentals

Introduction
Welcome! These materials are designed for those who have no experience in R. You are expected to complete the exercises and assignments at the end of each session to demonstrate your mastery of the topics covered.
Please note: There are a wide variety of resources on the Web and elsewhere that will teach you how to work in R. I encourage you to seek out those resources, however, note that they are of varying quality. These materials are intended to provide you with a focused introduction to R that is directly related to using it in statistics, data science, and quantitative management.
How are these materials are organized?
These materials are organized into a series of sessions. Each section is designed to take you two hours or less. By the end of each session you should be able to easily complete the exercises and the assignment. You are encouraged to first skim the session. Then, follow along with the session using R. You can simply read and follow along. The important part is that you using R and getting practice.
